Flekman Art is a tile-making business in Brooklyn. They approached me about creating a new design for their website. It functions both as a brochure site and as an eCommerce site where users can order the tiles they want. However, they ultimately ended up using another design because the back-end platform they chose would not have worked with mine.

I stuck mainly to neutral beige and gray tones because I didn’t want the colors to distract from the images. The website is rich with imagery of the tiles they use and the artwork they put on the tiles, and I wanted that to be the main focus. The use of orange comes from their logo, since it has orange in it.
